Whats the story behind why I cant find this in grocery stores any longer? Did other makers of steak seasoning complain too loudly because theirs will never sell when sitting beside Blackened Steak Magic? As long as I can buy it online, I'll be ok, but you had me worried there for a second :-)

By far the best blackening seasoning I have found. Local stores are no longer offering, glad it's available online.

OMG! We've been using this magic for years! We buy the BIG cannisters, 4 at a time. If you haven't tried it, do so, but do it outside on a HOT grill or griddle, unless you like the sound of smoke detectors.

I found this product after I had moved to Santa Monica in 1991. Being from Europe, I was looking for a steak spice and when I saw Mr. Prudhomme's picture on the package, I thought that he looks like someone who knows something about food. Since then it has become a staple in my kitchen, and all visitors compliment me on it. Thanks!
