Taco Filling

50 portions at 2, 2ounce Filled Tacos per portion

This is a School Nutrition bulk recipe.
1 cup vegetable oil
8½ cups chopped onions
5½ cups chopped bell peppers
18 cups beef crumbles, precooked
8½ cups diced tomatoes, drained
5½ cups water
how to prepare

Heat the oil in a tilt-skillet or large pot, over high heat. Add the onions and bell peppers. Cook, stirring frequently, until onions are translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Add the Fajita Magic® and stir well for 2-3 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients. Simmer, stirring frequently, until mixture is thick and pasty, about 10-20 minutes. Scrape the skillet frequently to prevent sticking.
