Homemade Egg Nog

from the kitchen of Chef Paul Prudhomme

Makes 4 cups

4 eggs
½ cup Chef Paul Prudhomme's Sweetie Magic™
¼ cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
how to prepare

In a heatproof mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, Sweetie Magic™ and sugar together until the mixture is fully combined. Whisk in the milk, cream and vanilla. Place the mixing bowl over simmering water and cook, whisking frequently, over low heat until the mixture reaches 160°. Serve hot or chill before serving.

If desired, add rum, brandy or your favorite liquor.
